I did the kit in 2014 and if it a bad pump that is sad for a car that drive local only.
She driving other car so no rush for it. I was in the car and ask her about the noise and she said it would go away. I had to tell her loose timing belt you loose engine. I have all the tools out still so water pump will be easy to change. If that don't solve it beyond me and will go back to rocket science. It the first timing belt car I work on so I am learning. The cost is only same price as a timing belt kit. My time is free. Beside it always fun to work Honda stuff.
