Hello, i bought my white 06 accord a few months back, and didn't notice until a little bit ago that there is tiny rust spots (like what you would see from hot metal shavings from brakes), and there not only along the side of the vehicle, but around the back and under the license plate. The dealer said it was from train brakes or something, and said to take it to be clay bared. Well, that helped a little, but most came back after the clay bar and polish. Anyone else have this problem? I don't care too much, just don't want it to spread or get worse. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, Derek.

 

Well, I'm not sure about Honda, but Acura for sure has a lifetime warranty on paint I believe.

As long as a panel is not damaged, they will repaint or replace it free of charge, but you have to be absolutely positive it's actual rust.
