Tips on EGR passage cleaning?
I'm going to be doing some work around where my intake is (manifold, plenum, throttle body gaskets) and figured I'd do some stuff while I'm there like thermostat, fuel filter, etc. I'm also going to clean the IAC valve and throttle body.. actually I'm just gonna clean every intake component I can get my hands on. Then I thought about cleaning the EGR passages while I'm in there. I know I'll have to drill out the plugs, i'm ok with that, but where can I get replacement plugs? Hardware store? Should I remove the EGR valve and clean that too? Does anyone have any tips regarding this procedure, or recommendations for anything else I'll be doing?

New plugs are ~$3 each from the dealer.
You are there, I would pull the valve and clean as well. Be sure to use the proper tools so you do not strip the nuts.
If you are going that far, don't forget the air boost valve on the drivers end of the tb, be aure to clean it as well.......good luck.
