Default Tire question please Help

Drive a 99 accord sedan. Not sure which set of tires but whenever i drive straight they make a buzzing noise and whenever i would turn or on a curve its pretty quiet. very weird. and i have noticed my mileage have dropped by 5mpg which is pretty significant. is there a correlation between those two? please help!

This may sound odd,but are your tires properly inflated? And typical noise from the tire is normal.

Sounds like a wheel bearing. Tire noise should not change when you turn but a wheel bearing will.

Outer ring of the bearing sits in the hub carrier/steering knuckle; the inside of the bearing sits on the axle (in front) or hub (in back). It allows the cars wheels to spin freely and with little frction.

Maybe your brakes are dragging... slide pins need a relube?
