Default Transmission Filter

Hey guys, I have to replace my transmission filter in my 1989 Accord SE-i.
I was wondering if there were a quicker and easier way to change it without having to take off the axles and lift the engine.

Please don't say take it to a mechanic...I don't believe in that stuff >.>

Thanks ~Jajle

there is no outer tranny filter,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you are in luck,,,,,,,,to replace the trany filter ( metal screen ) tranny needs to be totally disassembled ..........it never needs to be replaced , unless you are doing a tranny overhaul
