Transmission mystery
My auto-transmission is behaving strange.
I got my transmission seals fixed recently and that's when the problem started.
It's facing difficulty in changing gears with increasing speed early in the morning. Once engine gets heated up everything works fine. So it's that first 5 mins drive is the problem.
I'm not sure that my transmission is gone bad b'cos it does bother me after that first 5-10 min drive.
My check engine light flashed twice in a week. Code description was something like "unusual load on transmission".
I checked my transmission fluid. It's full.
Can anyone suggest what could the problem
It's a 2000 Honda Accord LX 4-dr AT

The internal transmission screen is not accessible without dismantling (trans doesn't have a "pan"). It's not a routine service part.
Some people have installed external filters on the ATF lines to/from the bottom of the radiator.
2000 LX was available with 4-cyl or V-6, and it's important to know which it is.
Finally, you need to get the actual error code number, not just someone's creative explanation.

^darn, I swapped the fluid/filter on my roommate's camry last week and the shifts cleaned right up. And it had nearly the same problem, though it continued to a lesser extent once the car got up to temp. Good luck!
