First im not a mechanic and I LOVE my 91' honda accord EX. Im try keep it short and simple sorry if i dont relay exacts just going on what i was told.
I started leaking transmission fluid by my axle and had the seal replaced. Now im being told my transmission is pushing my axle out and I have to replace the transmission which i did replace just 5 months ago. along with the axle were it is leaking from on the passenger side, and it is still leaking of coarse. I have had problems finding a good honest mechanic since moving any idea i can tell my most recent mechanic on what else might be the problem? should i just go to the dealership.

It's pretty common that a replacement axle doesn't get pressed in hard enough. Then it comes out after awhile. Your mechanic needs to really pound the axle into the trans so it snaps decisively into place. He should try pulling it back out just to be sure it's snapped in.

 

I cast my vote with JimBlake I'd guess the axle didn't seat fully into the differential.
The end of the inner CV joint stub has a clip ring on it that has to seat in a groove of the differential reciever.
The other thing could be the clip ring got lost somewhere ??

I am voting clip problem, wrong axle(too short) or worn suspension component . When I did used cars at a dealership we once had a car which kept the pulling the axle out and ordered a replacement which did the same thing. I believe it was a Dodge and we found out they use two different axes for that year and were given the wrong one. I have found rebuilt aftermarket axles tend to not seat easily such as a clip problem or the splines not in great shape.
