Default trouble with my accord

Hi everyone, I have a '94 accord (automatic) and it is really laggy. When Im at idle the car looses power but the RPM's dont really move. It idles at about 6000rpms. When Im on the freeway between 50-70 mph and then it goes back to normal and continues this pattern until I accelerate. If i floor it then it takes off, but if I accerate slowly or moderately the car begins to jerk. If I described this correctly can anyone tell me what this could be? Also my engine light does not come on. thanks for your help!

Idles at 6000 RPM??...the throttle is stuck wide open ??
I'm guessing you mean 600 RPM.
First issue with the low idle, clean the throttle plate area with Berrymans B-12 and a toothbrush....secondly remove the IACV and spray out the screen and ports with the carb cleaner.

Has the car ever had new spark plugs?
An engine stumble under light throttle 1500-2000 Rpm could be plugged EGR ports.

With the engine at idle and fully warmed up, put your finger under the top of the EGR valve and push the pintle up. The engine should stumble severely or stall.
If you need to clear out EGR ports here's a link;
