Default Trying to disconnect the shifter cable at the transmission

I recently pick up a '88 Accord auto/carbed for a great price and I am trying to pull the engine/trans. I got the motor suspended in the air with only the shift cable holding it in. I've removed the plate that covers the cable as in goes into the trans but try as I may I can't figure out how to disconnect this DAMNED cable from the trans.........HELP!!!

I figured it out, I had to remove the lower flywheel/torque converter shield then I could remove that cotter pin and withdraw the cable. The Haynes didn't explain that too well!!!
