Valve cover gasket question

Valve cover gasket question
I found and read the DIY for the oil in spark plugs. Quick question. I know I should use a thin layer of Ultra Grey where the tube seals make contact with the head. Does this also apply to where the valve cover gasket meets the head?

I have always just used trim adhesive to glue the valve cover gasket to the cover and installed it same as the mechanics at the dealership I worked. We used a spray adhesive.

DO NOT use spray adhesive to glue the gasket to the valve cover,, gasket will stay just fine once installed in the cover
As diy says use a bit of ultra gray or honda bond on the corners of the gasket and the rounded edge where it meets the head the rest leave it dry

I must have read the wrong DIY because the one I read says to use honda bond on the tube seals and doesn't say anything about corners or rounded egde. I used a Fel-pro set and it said to leave it dry, so I left it dry. Should I remove it and put some ultra-grey on the corners and rounded edge?
