Default RE: Vehicle speed pulse wire

the vehicle speed output is given directly from the pcm to the guage. it's a blue/white wire. it run from the pcm and is then spliced off to the drivers multiplex, guage assembly, passenger under dash fuse box and the cruise control unit.

personally, i'd recommend taking it from the passenger underdash fuse box since it simply does nothing there. it's run there and then not used. so you just cut the wire from the connector and splice in or just plug in a terminal wire, whatever.

heres the box

heres a pic showing which connector you want to find - #9

here is the connector itself, there should be a blue/white wire in terminal C12.

here's where the problem comes in. it's showing that there is a blue/white wire in that terminal for a/t and manual transmissions and that it's not used on either one, but in the detailed connector information it shows that wire is only on a manual trans model. so it may or may not be there. if it is, use it. if it's not i'll find something to help.
