Vibration Issue

Default 2003 Honda Accord LX Automatic - Vibration Issue

Starts vibration when at 65mph, intermittent at times, it happens at different speeds. Checked tire balance and rims.

Is the vibration still there if you rotate the tires?

I would put the front end of the car on jack stands. Turn the steering wheel until it locks.

Grab the front tire, and try to push/pull at the 9/3 o'clock positions. Also try the 12/6 o'clock positions. There should be very little movement of the tire (less than a quarter inch). If someone holds the steering wheel, there should be no play. If there is play, then try to find the component that is showing movement.

Also, do you get pulsation when using the brakes at any speed?

Does the car only vibrate when the gas pedal is pushed down? I had this problem on my 4 door 2003 Honda Accord and ended up replacing both axles to get rid of the problem. (I resorted to a mechanic and paid $400 OUCH)
