Is the 5v reading based on the TPS connector's by touching only the Grn/Blu wire and the Yel/Blu wire with the voltmeter's leads?

Okay, Grn/Blu wire (sensor ground from ECM) seems good; no short or open in wiring. Btw: Grn/Blu is a green insulation colored wire with a blue stripe running through it.

Plug TPS and VSS back in.

At the ECM connector C460 (see picture), check voltage reading at pin 6 (red/Blk wire) coming from TPS with ignition ON. You may have to backprobe.

At the ECM connector C459, check voltage reading at pin 13 (orange wire) coming from VSS with ignition ON.

At the TCM connector C461 (see different picture), check voltage reading at pin 5 (orange wire) coming from VSS with ignition ON.

My Orange VSS wire goes into the Ecu through plug B (c259) 11.2 (vss/tps plugged in)
I have a red wire w a black stripe at c260 .5v with key on
Orange wire at TCM shows the samé 11.20 v. ..key on

1. Yes, VSS orange wire should be plug B (connector C459).

The VSS voltage reading is too high at both ECM and TCM. Try the replacement ECM you have to re-check the VSS voltage reading there. If it still doesn't change after the different ECM, we'll have to check the orange wiring for a short.

2. The TPS red/blk wire voltage appears okay at the TPS and at the connector C460 at the ECM. Not sure why it is throwing a TPS code.

Some of this is kind of repeating the earlier posts in this thread.

So, no difference in voltage for VSS wire with original or replacement ECM?

Just to rule it out something going on between the TCM and ECM causing it, try unplugging the connector for the TCM and plugging back in the connector for the ECM. Any change in voltage on VSS orange wire?

no change in voltage

TCM Unplugged, Key on, Vss unplugged, I have 4.8v at orange

when i pull the ecm fuse volts on orange at vss connector (unplugged) drop to 4.7

The numbers are the same when i plug the TCM

Under most circumstances, it would seem the ECM is the issue; but, you tried a different ECM and it is the same result with the VSS.

Which ECM fuse did you pull, the one under the hood or under the dash? That way I can see which wire that is.
