Water from the A/C
I got in my car this morning, only to find a puddle on the passenger floor pan. I also noticed water running from under the dash. I had a few questions regarding this: is this a common problem, what is the best way to clear the drain hole, and what else could be causing this water to build up and overflow onto my floor?
Thanks,

First try gently probing w/ a pipe stem cleaner or stiff wire up the drain tube and see if the obstruction is in the vertical portion of the drain tube. If the obstruction is further upstream, you can sometimes clear the drain by blowing air into the drain tube on the engine side of the firewall. Gently blow or you'll blow the tube off the nipple behind the evaporator case and out through the firewall.
These strategiesmay not clear or only temporarily clear. The problem is dust and debris pulled in through the fresh air intake has built up enough in bottom of evaporator case to block the flow of water to the drain. The best fix is to discharge the AC system, remove the evaporator case, open and clean the inside of the case.
Examine the evaporator case exterior closely to make sure you don't have a crack or other defect leaking water from the case.
good luck

Make certain that it's water and not anti-freeze. If it's coolant then that indicates a heater core issue.... However, if it's water then an obstructed drain tube is the most common issue (leaves etc plug it up)
he's got a 2003 accord and unless his cabin filters are having holes in them allowing crap to pass,it is most likely the drain tube plugged up. easiest thing to to is take a pipe cleaner and work it up through the drain tube.
I found all of your information helpful. I got under the dash and checked the rubber drain tube and made sure it was connected and clear. I found that the cabin filter was very dirty (never been changed). I replaced the filter; so far I have not had any issues. Could the clogged cabin filter cause the condenser to freeze up? When thawing, undoubtedly there would be a bunch of water coming out onto the floor.
Again, thanks for all of your helpfull input.
