Default WHAT IS THis Mystery Switch in 2003 EX?

There is a switch in the compartment under the cassette player and in front of the gear shift. When pushed a blue led indicator light comes on ,which is on the switch itself. It doesn't appear to do anything when pushed and it is not mentioned in the manual. This may be unrelated but there is a hfr-3 bass **** to the left of it in the same compartment which was there when I bought the car. What does this sound like to you? I have a picture and here is my email if needed wolverine1555@yahoo.com

Some security systems have a hidden switch to allow various operating modes; valet, etc.

good luck

Not normally out in the open; however, some guys install switches for actuators to open/close hidden compartments to hide their stash... if it is aftermarket, without a picture and knowing where the wires may lead, I can only guess...
