What is it? Overflowing PS fluid & squealing
It sounds like your belt is slipping. When you turn the wheel and it screechs your probably not going to fast, like parking? The belt could be worn or it needs to be adjusted. The resevoir overflows MAYBE because the pump itself is bad and fluid builds up inside the resevoir and doesn't circulate. Chances are the two problems are related.
My pump makes a clicking noise all the time, and a grinding noise when I go to turn while going slow.. sometimes the PS works, sometimes not.. fluid bubbles and overflows, I found out it's the bearing inside my pump. We might have the same problem, I found a few pumps on ebay for less than $50 Shipped though. Let us know how it goes!
Does anyone know how to change the ps pump and belt....? Please try and let me know in details for I am newbie working on my car.... A 1991 honda accord lx stwg... So much help is needed.... Thanks....
