Switching a V6 to a manual transmission will be difficult. You would have to find an Acura that had a manual transmission that would bolt to the 97 Accord V6.
The manual transmission used on the 4-cylinder accords will not bolt on.

I did some research and learned that only a few people transitioned a legend transmission, 5/6 speed manual, into a 1997 v6 accord ex like mine. Would definitely be a challenge.
