Default what size brake line does a 99 accord use

Hello, i had a steel brake line rupture on me this morning, and need to replace it. First off is there a quick temp. fix to this problem, like sleeving it with something and clamping it off, and second, what size diameter line do they use on a 99 accord for the steel line to the rear brakes, just have to get it home so it can be repaired.

Google "honda brake line size" for link. It says the size is 3/16" tubing and nut is 10x1mm. you will need a bender, cutter and flare tool which can be rented from auto parts such as autozone, et al.

Not as easy as you might think.

Warning, it there's one hole it may rupture again if you splice a piece in place. I had this happen on a Dodge truck that was driven in salt water on coast.

good luck

ARE there any connections between the and back that a new piece could be put in or a way to splice one between fittings

The don't use splice fittings and you'll have to find some tubing fittings to perform a splice.

good luck
