where is service check connector for 2000 accord SE
I've looked pretty everywhere on the passenger side even driver side. The service manual says it's on the passenger side with green/black, brown 2 port connector. The only 2 port connector I see on the passenger side is yellow, brown on the gray connector.
Can anybody tell me where the service check connector is?..I spent about 2hrs to do this. I need to set ignition timing. Picture would be great or specific diagaram. .....
I googled as well and found nothing for this model. Some says I don't have to short the connector if I wait for two fan cycle?. Is it true?
it's 2000 accord SE VTEC
Thanks,

Do you know which ones to be used to short ECU?. I am trying to set ignition timing. I did found 20 pin connectors under the driver's side

I am not as familiar with the 98-02 setup. All of these cars are OBD2, so the dealership can reset the SRS using their standard scanner, but they typically charge to do this.
You should find out the codes before resetting the SRS light, unless you unplugged something and forgot to plug it in.
If the 98-02 kept that 2-pin MES connector, like my 95, then it should be plugged into a dummy connector. It is hard to describe the location on 95. It was on the driver's side of the car behind the dash. It was close to where my left knee would be when driving, but behind the plastic piece that your knee would hit if you were in an accident.
I wouldn't mess with that 20 pin connector.
