I have a 2002 EX V6 Accord and want to install a hitch. The owner's manual says that there is a pre-wired electrical connection in the trunk, but I looked everywhere (including in the spare wheel compartment and even under the chassis) and can't find it. Can anyone help? Please let me know where it is exactly. Thanks!

 

I just went looking for it on my car so I can wire up a trailer plug myself... There is a plug on the driver's side, behind the carpet above that storage pocket. If you take out the screw that holds the carpet behind the driver's tail light, you can fold the carpet down behind that light (like you were going to replace a bulb) Follow the wires forward about a foot and the plug is there.

You probably went to the dealer/already found it, but I figured that I would post it anyway...
