Wierd Cold Start Issue

Wierd Cold Start Issue
I have a 93 Accord 10th Anniversary edition. Every morning when I go to start the car it will start and run for a second and then die...then if I start it again it will run with no problems for the rest of the day. Could this be a fuel injector issue? I have already run one bottle of injector cleaner thru...should I run another bottle thru and see if this clears up or does anyone have any other ideas??

What kind of spark plugs do you have in there? If they are due to be changed, then get the OEM NGK V-Power ones.
Tomorrow morning, turn the key to the II position, but do not try to start the car. Wait for the clicks to finish. Turn the key off, then to the II position again. Do this for a total of 3 times. Try to start the car and see if it stalls. All you are doing is building up fuel pressure at the rail.

Good spark plugs & turn on the key, wait for the CEL to shut off, then crank over the engine.
Top Tech Tip of the Day:
The Sneaky way to clean fuel injectors; hold the engine revs at 4K, pinch off the vacuum line to the FPR and let off the throttle back to idle. After 30 seconds of idle unpinch the vacum line.
Then reset the ECU/CEL from where the O2 sensor had a heart attack

We tried turning the key to the II position, and it still did the same thing. In fact it acted like it was flooded this time so I held the gas pedal all the way to the floor and got it to start, but then it ran and then died. I can keep it from dieing though if I give it a little bit more gas right before it goes to die. Any other ideas. I don't think it's a spark plug issue because once its running, it runs great. This only happens when it has been sitting overnight...rest of the day it runs fine.

I would suggest cleaning you Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) when they get some age on them, they tend to get carbon/gunk buildup, and start to stick a bit... it's free to do, and may even fix it. worst case, you spent 15 minutes doing a lil maintenance on your car
