Window on driver side just fell down on a '98 Accord
Good morning to all,
last night driving from work the driver side window just dropped half way inside the door panel. I didn't touch the power switch, it suddenly just dropped.
I can lift the window by hand but it drops back down if I drive (vibrations I believe).
When I try the power switch I don't hear any clicking sounds, the other windows work.
I looked at previous threads but I cannot find a similar case.
I am going to check CB but I doubt that is the problem, maybe track issues or the motor itself?
I would like to know if anyone has any ideas on what could be wrong, that way I can order parts before removing the panel.
Thank you for any help.

Good afternoon,
I was able to manually lift the window up, I taped it fpr now till I have enough free time to open the panel.
When I did finish I tried the switch and I heard the motor work.
I believe it is the cable as you suggested or the bolts that connect the glass to the regulator.
Either way I will have to open the panel...
Any suggestions on maybe replacing the whole regulator unit or just part of it, considering the age?
Thanks
