Window Motor

Window Motor
Hello everyone!
I have reason to believe my window motor is going up. My issue is hard to describe so I will do my best. Each morning while driving my driver's side window makes a sound as if it is open or better yet kind of like a window sounds when being hit with high winds. When I press the power button to roll it down, the window will not move. Ironically it is not until I press the button to roll down my passenger side window (which works fine), that it actually rolls down when i press the button again on that side. Its very weird.
Anyhow would I be correct in guessing its my window motor?

On my 2003 Accord the power window would at times power up on its own while already fully up. I could feel the door panel press outward like it does when it reaches fully closed. I am guessing this is what your post is referring to. It was the window motor that was causing it.

The power window auto up/down feature may need to be reset. Procedure is rather lengthy and tedious to perform. I can't cut/paste procedure from my pdf manual (honda shop manual).
If you want to DIY, you'll need to purchase a manual from automanualsource.com for $22. Perhaps someone has the procedure to post.
good luck
