Default Washer fluid huh?

Hi all.

I couldn't find an answer via the search function, sooo:

The washer fluid sprayer on the right side isn't working. Left side, fine. Right side, a small puddle at the nozzle. I've tried the wire trick; no good. The hoses, etc on my 2006 Accord are all buried in the bulkhead.

Any ideas??

Thanks

If you cans get one of the hoses off from under there, blow compressed air through it.Its all I can think of. There is some blockage somewhere and compressed air from a blow gun off an air compressor usually does the trick.

I forgot to add, sometimes a shop vacuum can help. I unplugged one of the hoses from the nozzle itself on another car,and used a strong shop vac to suck the rest of the system out. The shop vac had an extension that was very narrow,I was able to duct tape a straw in it,and use the straw plus vacuum to pull the system.

You can have someone turn the washer on while using the vacuum to help get any blockage out.make sure it's a wet dry vacuum.

There is a Y-fitting on the pax (RH) side fender well. Not clear if it accessible. It may have be accessed by removing right wheel and fender liner.

Since you have L side fluid delivery, the tee is earliest possible defect source. You can remove RH side delivery tube and clear/replace from that site.

Shop manual has nice pics of layout but does not show which parts are readily accessible and which require removal of fender liner.

good luck
