Hey Everyone,

I am looking to get headers and a new exhaust system put on my 1996 Honda Accord EX coupe. I called a local Honda Shop Near me. They said they really don't have anything for my car in the Headers area and only have manga flow and skunk for the exhaust. I know some of you guys have done these mods. Any suggestions on brands or places to buy? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

-I know of DC and Megan Racing, magna flow, I don't know about quality, durability, or performance.
-Looking for some minimal gains with a nice deep sound, nothing crazy.

 

I also have a question. I know that doing a cat back exhaust with headers is the best way to go since it will be less restrictive. But can I get the header installed first with a stock exhaust? Will it damage the car in anyway until I upgrade to a cat back system? Thanks guys.

 

DC, Megan, Skunk2, Apexi, Greddy are all good. Megan probably being the least quality of the list.

You can upgrade the headers on a stock exhaust no problem.
