I have a 2012 accord coupe 3.5l engine. I just instaled a K&N intake. I removed the airbox per instructions, and I was wondering if anybody has removed the front part of the intake tubing? The air intake starting at the grill and going down the battery? I was wodering if this would increase the airflow to the K&N filter.

 

It wont really do anything to remove that unless you have it sitting right up against the filter. If its not in the way I would just leave it.
