Ok... So I took it to a local shop where they did a compresion and leak down test. To my dismay I have a burnt exhaust valve. They are a very reputable import shop, but are asking $1500 off the bat and can go up to $2k. Ugh... Kinda wish it was my cat.

Anyone know where I can find a complete refinished ulev cylinder head for a reasonable price? The mechanic will have to send it to one of two machine shops but told me he hasn't been happy with their work.
