Well....I guess you can cut it...and weld on a piece of metal that connects the pipe to the battery terminal screw.

Anchor Point...you don't want your SRI flopping around. Technically, you could do w/o if you have 6th and lower gen.

ok b/c the only mounting point i have now is by the coilover and its really long down and doesnt move around so it shouldnt move around since itll be shorter right?

Dj, no problem. 'Specially that you're a 7th gen-er. We need more of them!

Accord, yeah, you should be fine. Since the whole pipe in laying within the confines of the engine bay, no need for anchor points.
