It would make perfect sense to replace everything with the same diameter exhaust pipe... If you can afford to do so, or want your exhaust to yeild its maximum potential, it is the best thing to do...

I bought a 2-piece DC header for my 95 Integra. It included the "A-pipe" which goes under the oilpan & bolts up to the cat.

I thought that 1-piece header means there's no bolted flange until you get to the cat. It DOES go back to the cat but it's all in one piece.
