Default cold air intake in 100+ degree temps outside

I am looking to get an intake and have been reading the advantages of cold air intakes over short ram intakes and so forth. I live in Tucson AZ and in the summer it is usually 100 degrees or more outside, with this in mide would i be better off with a short ram instead of a cold air? Does the outside temp matter much? I am new to all this so please keep that in mind. Thanks everyone!!

(sighs)

Read my FAQ: https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/FAQ...m_22712/tm.htm

And go with the SRI. The heat rising off the pavement negates any benefits of a CAI. In fact, it'll be a WAI (Warm Air Intake).

No problem. You'll be real happy with the SRI. It purrs/roars with content if you give it a little gas.
