Default I need help with CAI please!!!!

First of all how are you my Sisters and Brothers... Hope all of you are well... Here is my question... I biught a AEM CAI and recived it today... I will be making the install... but I am kind of worried... you see my brotherinlaw has an accord 05 and i was present when they installed his... he needed a bypass in his setup cause the pipes end came down the side of the car close to the front left tire... but he told me that my setup is diffrent and that i dont need a bypass... can someone please confirm this... By the way i did order the bypass with the CAI and did not get it, so if I do need it I will have to wait till tommorow... My ride is a Accord 2000 I4 2.3 thankyou in advance..

As long as you didn't get the V2 you can use a bypass (they don't suggest it with the V2 intakes) but if not then you want it, if you can put it in there do so since it can save your hind end and your engine otherwise you run the risk of hydrolocking the motor and blowing it....

i agree with sir_nasty. also though u have to keep in mind if and does it rain alot around your area. if so i recommend getting a bypass but i would get one either way. its well worth it.

Yeah, a $50 protection plan for a $2,000 + motor. I think its a good idea.
