Default intake

in a earlier forum i noticed a person saying they put a front mount intake on their accord i do believe
would that give you a significantly larger hp gain then a short ram or a cai?
and would it really be worth it... having water as an extreme problem i imagine

on my cold air intake on my civic it sat right behind the front bumper which had a big inlet for air right in front of it... It was basically a front mount intake so to speak so I don't see someones custom built one going to be any better. Especially since SRI and CAI both work off of sound resonation to increase HP and not as much off air.

Conclustions: Whoopty do, not going to make much difference

well yeah i understand the whole sri and cai concept... but... here this was posted by accord_94 under the toppic "94-97 accord free power!"

if you want a good intake just go to ebay and type in front mount intake for an accord and you will find something like a intercooler looking intake. i have one and i can tell a big difference then when i just used to have a short ram. and there not very expensive. i bought mine for about 130 bucks. give that a try and i think if you get one you will be happy with it. and if your not vtec it will sound like you are. kinda funny when just playing around.
i looked up what he was talking about on ebay... this is what it came to

take a look and tell me what you think
