Default lost power after intake

I put a intake on today and it seems like i lost alot if my low end power below 3000rpm......And also its shifting at like 2000rpm if im not running it hard do i do something wrong? I attached both hoses i took off. There was a clip that held a cable running to the trans that i couldnt clip back in place thats all. Any ideas?

Dude if you disconnected the cable going to the throttle that is about the worst thing you can do. You will explode that transmission very quickly like that.
You are the first person ever to remove that cable to put an intake on, why would you do that? It is not in the way.
I seriously suggest you put it back to stock (including the transmission cable) and have someone help you that knows what they are doing.

He may mean the small clip that simply guides the trans throttle feedback cable.

Why not restore the OEM intake and see if problem goes away. Easy and cheap.

good luck

Yea I wasn't sure but it combines with him saying he could not connect something with his transmission and now it is shifting bad.

Driving it without that cable connected is bad, real bad.

I think he should go back to stock as well.

I didnt disconnect the cable. I just unhooked it from the small plastic clip that held it in place to the intake. Its like a guide to hold the cable from flopping around. But i took the intakr back apart and found one of my 45 degree bends wasnt even connected the whole way it had a big gap in it between the other piece of pipe. I didnt drive it yet but maby it was sucking too much air. Is it okay to unhook it from the little guide clip that keeps it from flopping around? If not ill zip tie it to the intake or rig something up tomorrow. If my intakr wasnt sealed the whole way would that cause my problem? It was pretty much not even connected it was probably sucking more air from their then the filter
