My first car...need help!
hey guys, so this is my first car: a 2003 Honda Accord EX 2.4L 4cyl Coupe
im looking into increasing my engine performance, speed, horsepower, torque. everything. only problem is, i know little on how to go about it.
as far as i know, everything in my car is stock.
im looking into new exhaust, cold air intake. and other stuff.
i dont want to spend anymore then $1,300.
can you help me?

I'm fairly sure I'm in the same boat you are. I own the same car too.
For this summer I think I'm going to be buying a K&N or a Fujita Cold air intake. Thing is that the K&N would actually serve as a short RAM intake if need be.
Get some new spark plugs too, I just purchased some E3 plugs and it almost feels as if my enigine accelerates smoother, no comment yet on gas mileage but i'll let you know.
btw what mileage do you get for your honda? can you give me a city estimate?

He said in his post he wouldn't like to spend more than $1300.00. Which leaves him quite a bit of room for small mods if I may say so...
I feel like in car engine mods there's just a "gap", you know? you have your exhausts, headers and intakes which give you measly HP increases yet they're cheap and easy to find. Then there's your chargers and engine swaps which cost a ton and are exclusive. My question is, is there any middle ground here? Can me and rhcp106 get some HP turning under the hood without breaking the bank?
