Default question

hey i just installed a k&n drop in filter in my air box on my 1999 honda accord ex v6 do i have to like reset or disconnect my battery then connect it again for the car computer to reconize that i have a new filter? thanks for the help.

Honestly I would not even bother. It's just a filter no need to reset it.

I don't think a filter is gona do anything performance wise other than what it is supposed to do. Think of it this way, its like changing a tire.

Dude, it's a high flow filter, not a turbocharger. You won't feel a difference. Be a smarter consumer and don't believe everything on the box.
