right now i am considering getting a CAI or an SRI. i know that the sri is located in the same position as the original air filter, but i cannot find any pictures showing how far the CAI goes down into the bumper area. could someone help me with this?

 

If you are facing your car and open the hood, your CAI will be on the far left, going down into that hole that you see (it maybe near your coolant resvoir), what is protecting the filter is the splash guard. I have a 96 LX with an AEM CAI...I will post pics as soon as I can figure out how to....hope this helps a little..
