Test Pipe!
Yes, I am thinking about getting one!
My mileage sucks and I think my cat is beginning to get clogged and w/ the price of titanium and other precious metals rising, cats are expensive.
Anyways, just wondering if the heat shield that fits over the oem cat will fit over a test pipe? Also, I have removed my header/downpipe before but rounded out the nuts. Will I need to torch the bolts to the rear of the cat assuming they dont round out?
Also, what do I need for the o2 tricker?

A test pipe shouldn't need a heat shield, it doesn't have a catalyst that ignites. Plus, I think there is another heat shield attach to the bottom of the car above the heat shields surrounding the cat heat shields.
Just have them put an O2 bung in it, and then go get a pack of 2 18mm spark plug defoulers, drill one out with a 1/2" drill bit and go to town!

2 18 mm spark plug defoulers, so how does that work? I put these things in and then still put the o2 sensor in. I am a lost newb.

Who looks under your car? Do you have inspections?
The defoulers take the sensor out of the exhaust stream, so it sees a cleaner exhaust and doesn't throw a code. The sensor is too big for the first defouler, so you have to drill it, then put the second one on it... it's like a bung extension...
I make joo a deal. If you buy a test pipe, I send joo a homeade defouler for however much they cost, then less work for joo? I include funnay instukshuns.

*Note they will have to be welded in place they dont have the flanges*
Or you can pick up a high flow cat off ebay for like 50bucks.
