Just installed my new exhaust system the greddy evo2. And i need to know if its normal when i either automatically start the car or manually do it ...it sounds like the car is spitting out of the exhuast.

 

Spitting liquid? Yeah, with a more staight-through exhaust you're going to get more condensate coming out the tailpipe. It's normal, mine did it. In most factory mufflers, that water collects at the bottoms and starts rusting the muffler.

The EVO2 has a bit of a shake on start-up. It will spit a little condensate and after about 10 seconds evens out. Also, there is a coating on new exhaust components that burns off in the first week or two of driving. Lastly, after about 3-4 months, an EVO2 system will deepen a bit and get a bit louder by measured volume only. I think it sounds quieter after the break-in, but that effect is due to how we perceive the sound spectrum .... humans don't hear deep tones or very high pitch ones as well as we do mid-range.
