Something else you might consider being a old schoolhot rodder I found that headers only lasted so many years 5 was the longest I've seen!then you need to replace them it get's costly after awhile,but headers are definatly worth it. they pull the heat away from your engine and free up the exhaust flow. It's been argued and debated but in my experience SRI and headers are the way to go then the catback, you'll get more horsey with a header and cat back combination then just a catback!

 

I hope mine last alot longer. Whatcha guys think, is 5 years true or what?

i hope my dc sports header will last at least 5 years, i paid over 300 bucks for this!

 

If you really think about it though, 300 bucks every five years isnt that expensive. I cant wait till i get my headers and high flo cat. Im freaken pumped bout a month and a half from now.

 

I could be mistaken but I believe that headers on accords last over 5 years.... some of the older v8's and such they didn't last as long but I believe that was mainly due to the lack of technology in metals and the higher exhaust flow bringing more heat than an accord...
