Default 1998 honda accord v6

Hi, I have a honda accord 1998 v6. I like to know if the gas consumption will increase if I add a cold air intake? Thank you

Welcome to HAF.

Kind of a debate on the topic. IMHO, yes the milage will be impacted. How much is going to depend on your right foot

Thank you poorman212 & wheelbrokerang.
So if I continues to drive normal around 30 to 40 mph the impact won't be high?
My mainly purpose is To make my car look kind nice under the hood.

Yes, if you take it easy the change will be very small........most of the time people like the "sound" of the intake so they put the right foot down more than normal.

Thanks men. I have another question. What about the headers. I was told that changing then would increase the gas consumption. Is that true?

Most anything you change will increase your gas consumption..Your car was made for the ut-most fuel milage by the manufacture..so changing things will decrease your mileage.
