Please help me if you know how to fix the electrical problem.
My 1998 Honda Accord EX 4 doors car recently burns out the clock. I then bought 2001 year clock and emergency module to replace it.
The new 2001 one looks exactly the same the 1998 one except the emergency switch. After I replaced it now my instrument light went off everytime I turn on the headlight. I totally can't see the odometer light in the night at all. I checked all fuses, replays (both doorsides, under hood, under steering wheel), wires burns but everything looks normal. I even replaced the headlight switch but still did not work.
Can someone please help me to solve this electrical issue. I now use 1998 module one with instrument ligh off. Appreciate for your help so much. Thanks

 

hey id be happy to try and help you but your post is really confusing. so did you switch back to the 98 clock, and whats an emergency module? if you could please explain a little more.

yes i did put back the original clock. No instument light at night time.
this clock set come with clock and emergency button. please help. thanls

 

I got the same problem too, but mine is a 98 Accord LX, I did checked all the fuses but nothing were burned.

 

I did an LED conversion....problem solved.
