I am having an issue tracking down the problem with my Honda. The check engine light was on in my car so I had the code read on the machine. I was showing low voltage coming from the alternator so I replace it. The AC worked good before the alternator replacement but after the car seems like it idles rough after I turn on the AC. The engine loses RPM's like it wants to stall out. I had my mechanic come over to the house with the scanner from his shop and it threw the MAP sensor code. I went and got the part and replaced it. I disconnected the battery for a bit and then put it back on and drove it around town. The same problem when you flip the AC on ( RPM's bog way down to almost stall out ). What could be my issue? I am mechanically inclined but I am at a loss here and don't want to take this to the dealer. Yes I did check the belt alignment from when I did the alternator an everything matches up.
