Cat won't accelerate past 3000rpms; fuel pump?
Hi I have a 2009 Honda Accord 2.4l sedan. I had to put it in the body shop and when I took off with my car it's like it didn't wanna go. My car sat there in E for about 6 months without being driven. I had to have a new starter because something was killing my new battery over night. No lights on however it the battery would die over night. My ex tried using his motorcycle battery to jump my car battery. He fried my starter so it costed me $300. That he did not pay for. Anyways I could get up to about 3000 rpms which took forever. Even just to get to 30-40 mph was difficult. If I hit the gas harder it would make the car cut back like it didn't wanna go and it would jerk. I put an obd2 scanner on it got codes for misfire in 3 & 4 so I changed all my spark plugs. I have checked all the fuses and relays the best I could. Well this wanna be back yard mechanic convinced me to let him check a couple things for me. Ha he got me stuck for 2 weeks after he decided to take my fuel pump out. When he got things back together the car would not crank. Something is killing my batteries. I have to put a jump box on my car because even just one door being open an 30 mins makes the battery die. With the car on the jump box my car still won't crank. I think it's in the fuel pump. I really don't have the $200 right now to buy the pump and didn't know if theres something else cheaper I could try first. Oh I also replaced the crankshaft position sensor. I have no way to check the fuel pump like videos I've seen but I do know it's priming and something is coming out of the pum. Just not sure if the compression the fuel pump is pumping out is strong enough to crank the car. Can anyone tell me what they think my issue is?
Thank you in advance,
Summer
