Totally get the point....getting the Chevelle out every now and then is nice

For parts think of it this way - not 100% but most things. Firewall forward, most everything interchanges (86-89 2, 3 or 4 door). From the firewall back - you need to be looking at 2 or 3 door cars.

There are minor things that do change in the "years". Example, the front turn signal lights on the 86 and 87 are yellow.....on the 88 and 89 they are clear...they also mount slightly different. The trim at the headlights and hood - where it "meets" the bumper, again the 86 and 87 have a different design/pattern than the 88 and 89. Kind of like "lines" on the 88-89 and "squares" on the 86-87.
