And thats why am having issues getting the Honda ATF.

 

For now all I could get from the Auto parts market is the Honda ATF Z1, the type that is bottled from Singapore. I would have preferred the America type, but since I could not lay my hand on that yet that is why am trying to know the authenticity of the Singapore brand. The plastic is white with Red label. The cover is red and Honda is boldly inscribed on the cover. Just like I say earlier you can get the image if you search for Honda ATF Z1 from google and by clicking the image tab you will see the different bottle of the Honda ATF Z1.

OK, that explains a lot. I really don't know of "counterfeit" oil is a possibility, but it seems pretty reasonable that Honda would contract with different oil companies around the world to make "their" oil. That would explain the different labels on the bottle.

I'm sure Honda doesn't make any of their own oil; they get oil companies to make it to Honda's specifications. Unless you suspect "counterfeit" oil, I wouldn't worry about the country where it's made.
