Hello all, just joined the forum, have searched around this forum many times just never signed up. I own 2 accords 1998 and 2006, both M/T, and both 300K plus miles. I do all my own maintenance and repairs. currently neither of them are running, 98 has a couple burnt valves, I havnt looked further to see if I need a new head or can limp by with some new valves. the 06 is a crank no start, for the second time this year, first it died going up a pass, just lost power and when I got pulled of to the side of the road it died and crank no start, I replaced the cam and crank sensors and it started. this last case of no start happened when i was trying to pass a semi on a two lane so had the rpms up there around 4k as I was just about around the truck I lost power no throttle response down shift to increase RPMS still no throttle response got pulled over to side of the road and it died, than I tried to start it and crank no start. Has anyone had this kind of issue? If so what did you find was the problem?
