I've just gotten a "93 Accord LX 5 spd., and then drove it 2500 miles to get home. Blasted a strip diagonally thru the midwest! Car ran great, but I've either got to grease or replace CV joints. Bleah. Car is awsome at speed, and drivers seat comfortable for many-too many- hours at a time. I loved the drive, but not in just 3 days!

Cheaper to just buy kits with new boots & grease. But check cost of replacing the axle as a unit. Itmight be low enough that you can avoid thehassle of dismantling CV joints.

that really is dedication to drive that far in just 3 days... ihave the same car and it kills my back to drive for only a couple hours but that most likely is for different reasons

I agree with JimBlake here. I had to replace mine as well on my 1992 accord. Found it to be much cheaper to just replace the entire axel as a unit versus doing just the CV. Much better to do this than dismanteling (if thats a word lol) .
