My first honda accord year '91

Well ive been having alot of problems with my new... i mean used honda accord '91. It Was givin to me for a present.... well what im tryin to say is I NEED ADVICE!!!

well.... for all i know.... its been wrecked before.... i think its the transmition thats making my car give like a kick... its an automatic transmition.... and theres also somethin wrong with my speedometer.... every thing else on my dashboard works.... except the speedometer... well thats what i need advice on.... Thanks

speedo out usually means VSS but if the cel is not on then it is most likely bad speedo. does the odo work?

The ODO does work.... but i also have to tell you that the engine check light is always on.... and the sport light keeps on blinking... even if i dont have the sport on....
