I am looking to buy a new Honda Accord in the next couple of weeks. I bought a 2013 base model (LX) when they came out, and I love it, so I was thinking of getting another base model. But then I saw the hybrid is well under 2 grand more, and gets much better mileage. I know the math probably doesn't add up in favor of the Hybrid until you've had the car for many years, but I intend to keep the car a long time. Also I like the idea of having to spend less time at the gas pump!

Any thoughts on the base model versus the Hybrid?
