Hello,

I just bought a 2005 Accord from a family friend last week. There is hardly a scratch on it, except for where the previous owners big costume jewelry rings scratched up the area behind the drivers door handle.

The car has low, low miles. Bought it with just shy of 20k miles. She rarely ever drove the car. I'm not sure of the model/package designation; but the car has leather interior, power and heated seats, dual climate control, XM and buttons on the steering wheel, auto with a 4 banger under the hood.

I usually join a forum for every vehicle I buy. I figure it helps to draw upon a larger knowledge base about a specific car/truck/bike/etc.

This is the first Honda car I've owned (have several Honda bikes). I'm hoping to learn more about the car, some tips and tricks for maintenance and mileage improvement.

Congratulations on the purchase. I just bought my 2004 with more than double the mileage of your 2005 less than a month ago.

If you are interested in adding an ipod connection I've been discussing options with another accord owner in the A/V Electronics subforum.
